Romantic Novelists Association
The RNA will be celebrating its 50th anniversary next year: 2010.  Back in 1960 it started with 115 members and now has more than 700.  It is my favourite support group for writers.  A New Writer's Scheme gives critiques to aspiring authors.  Membership entitles you to a quarterly newsletter and regular meetings, both locally and in London.  Plus the grand Awards Lunch each February where the Romantic Novel of the year is chosen.
